Academic Offer

The University of Padova is unique in its multi-disciplinary offer, spanning over 8 schools and 32 departments. Students at the University of Padova can choose from a wide range of the first cycle (80), second cycle (84) and single cycle (9) degree programmes, as well as a vast array of Postgraduate courses and a school of excellence (Scuola Galileiana di Studi Superiori).

Courses entirely held in English are on the increase, now including 20 full degree programmes, 20 doctoral programmes, more than 700-course units and numerous short specialisation courses.

Research

This is an advanced level course which will interest people aiming for specialist or managerial positions in medium-sized or large manufacturing or commercial enterprises, in consulting and financial advisory firms, or in public administrative bodies. These are contexts which require a great deal of skill in selecting and following through appropriate competitive strategies, backed up by a solid grounding in managerial processes and their underlying logic. This is an advanced level course which will interest people aiming for specialist or managerial positions in medium-sized or large manufacturing or commercial enterprises, in consulting and financial advisory firms, or in public administrative bodies. These are contexts which require a great deal of skill in selecting and following through appropriate competitive strategies, backed up by a solid grounding in managerial processes and their underlying logic. The course is divided into four semesters. In the first two semesters, all students cover the four main areas of business administration: the legal aspects, political economy, statistics and company economy. Students learn to apply these concepts to the main functions of business administration and financial control. To this base are then added more specialised classes in production and marketing, the behavioural aspects of business administration (leadership, negotiation, decision making), strategic processes, planning, managerial control, performance measurement and company finance....
