Unicaf University is a licensed university in Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe and is also approved to recruit students in Kenya. Unicaf University is a member of the United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) and a member of the Southern African Regional Universities Association (SARUA). Unicaf University campuses in Zambia and Malawi are also accredited by the British Accreditation Council for Independent Further and Higher Education as an Independent Higher Education Provider.

Unicaf University offers students the opportunity to earn high-quality qualifications at low cost through exclusively online delivery, or through on-campus study, combining traditional face to face teaching and active participation in student social clubs and activities with digital learning tools, that enhance the experience of the modern learner.

Unicaf University aims to train responsible citizens who understand and support sustainable development. The University aims to give back to the communities it serves through the new knowledge produced by doctoral research, through its ‘green initiatives’, (recycling of paper, plastic and aluminium, regular planting of trees), through lectures of distinguished speakers open to the public, through free computer lessons for high school graduates and working adults, through free workshops on basic professional skills, through donations to hospitals and schools, and through the support of important social causes.

Unicaf University offers fully online and on-campus taught Bachelor, Masters and Doctoral degrees in a wide range of subjects, including Management, Economics and Business, Psychology, Teaching, Law, Accountancy and Finance, English Literature, Computer Science, Web Design and Development and specialised MBA programmes for diverse industries and sectors.

Partnerships

Unicaf is currently in partnership with the University of Suffolk (UK), Liverpool John Moores University (UK), the University of South Wales (UK), the University of California, Riverside Extension in the USA and multi-campus Unicaf University in Africa. Upon successful completion, students receive by the respective awarding body, their degree which is identical to the degree offered to on-campus students. Graduates can also attend the graduation ceremony at the home campus (subject to any visa restrictions that may apply).

The University has established state-of-the-art campuses in Zambia, Malawi and Zimbabwe, and is in the process of opening additional campuses in several other African countries very soon. In addition to the Unicaf University campuses, students also have at their disposal the modern facilities of Unicaf learning centres across Africa.
