To qualify for the College of Business Scholarship, the following eligibility requirements must be met:
- Fully admitted graduate student in any discipline of the COB.
- Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or First Class Distinction.
- Must enroll in 6 semester credit hours (domestic students) and 9 credit hours (international students).
- International experience through living abroad, studying, or working abroad is preferred.
- Work experience is preferred.
- Admission and enrollment into a STEM degree program is preferred.
- Must submit a 200-word essay discussing how the scholarship will assist them in managing their finances. If international experience is applicable, please discuss it in the essay.
- Applicants will be considered on a rolling basis. The deadline to apply for Fall is July 31. The deadline to apply for Spring is October 31.
- The scholarship is applicable during one academic year (Fall and Spring). Students who apply in the fall do not need to re-apply in the spring. However, spring applicants need to re-apply for the scholarship if they are not graduating and want to be considered for the full scholarship.
- This scholarship is applicable to both domestic and international students. The scholarship will entitle an out-of-state student to the Non-Resident Tuition exemption for competitive scholarship recipients. As such, students with any other scholarships, awards, or graduate assistantships that provide the non-resident exemption are ineligible for this scholarship.
