The Swiss School of Management Barcelona MBA programs are specifically designed for working professionals and those with previous managerial experience. Our MBA Program is designed as a fast-track course equipping students with the tools and analytical framework to successfully climb the corporate ladder and take on senior leadership roles in any global organization. Students develop their business personality and hone their management skills through lectures, company visits, international student weeks at partner campuses, seminars, workshops and business simulations, among others. Students discuss topics about the modern business environment while taking an in-depth look at subjects ranging from marketing to economics.
The program, with various intake dates, lasts one year. Within the MBA path, students can choose several business specializations to dive into. In these programs, students explore, examine and analyze various topics to develop their own business personality and develop an entrepreneurial mindset.

The Swiss School of Management MBA Degree is fully accredited by IACBE and eduQua, the Swiss Quality Certification label (accredited by the Swiss Federal Government) for Institutions of higher and continuous education.
Our Program has 15 courses comprising 12 core courses and 3 specialization modules. A final project/thesis or business plan is a requisite for graduation, accounting for one additional core course of 4 credits. Course evaluations are through examinations, reports, assignments, and the final thesis defense (Viva Voce) for the thesis requirement. The MBA university degree is granted to participants who achieve 60 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System).
MBA classes are given mostly in the evening to accommodate professionals who work or for students who would like to work or pursue an internship.

The Swiss School of Management is certified by eduQua, the first Swiss quality label geared toward adult continuing education. eduQua is made up of over 1000 schools, institutions and academies in all of Switzerland. eduQua is a certification body recognized and supported by the Swiss Confederate Government. It is the first quality certification for public and private educational institutions in Switzerland.
The Swiss Conference of Cantonal Ministers of Education (EDK) endorses eduQua as an officially recognized quality assurance scheme. EDK highly recommends the institution of higher education certified by eduQua. In more and more cantons, the certification is a requirement for public funding. The State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) also endorses EduQua.

Swiss School of Management is listed in the CHEA Database as programmatically accredited by IACBE which is a national advocate and institutional voice for academic quality through accreditation, CHEA is a U.S. association of degree-granting colleges and universities and recognizes institutional and programmatic accrediting organizations. CHEA is the only national organization focused exclusively on higher education accreditation and quality assurance.

The Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) is a United States organization of degree-granting colleges and universities. It identifies its purpose as providing national advocacy for self-regulation of academic quality through accreditation in order to certify the quality of higher education accrediting organizations, including regional, faith-based, private, career, and programmatic accrediting organizations.
The organization has approximately 3,000 academic institutions as members and currently recognizes approximately 60 accrediting organizations.

MBA Course Structure
The Master of Business Administration program consists of 15 courses subdivided into 12 core courses and a specialization module comprised of 3 courses. It is mandatory to submit a final project/thesis or business plan in order to graduate, which will be accounted for one additional core course of 4 credits. Most courses are worth 4 credit points and are assessed by either an examination, assignment or a combination of both. The Master of Business Administration (MBA) university degree is granted to participants who achieve 60 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System).

Forcibly Displaced Student Discount
Swiss School of Management Barcelona recognizes the plight of students who are forced to leave their homes due to conflict, violence, human rights violations, persecution, disasters, and the adverse effects of climate change. We offer forcibly displaced students (with official status recognized by government bodies / accredited non-governmental institutions) an opportunity of continuing their education and obtain a 15% discount on the tuition fee of our BBA, MBA, and DBA programs.
