Introduction

Global MBA(G-MBA)


Overall program is conducted in English, in order to support future leaders in developing their global management and leadership skills.

Global MBA program is a flagship program hoping to make the global rankings. This program is composed of 4 semesters, total of 45 credits (major requirement of 12 courses, 24 credits) without vacations. In other words, the program lasts for 12 months but is equivalent to a US MBA program that lasts for 2 years. The level of education is equivalent, but time length is shorter. However, students who wish to gain internship experience or international experience as an exchange student can take their time in earning their degrees.


All lectures and classroom discussions are conducted in English. All core courses are taught by SNU professors, and more than half of the electives are taught by prominent visiting professors from prestigious universities across the world.

Dual Degree Program - World renowned Duke University

In order to meet global standards, the SNU Business School has signed a comprehensive strategic alliance with the Fuqua Business School of Duke University, a leading U.S. business school. Duke University was ranked third by the Financial Times in the 2005 global ranking of E-MBA programs. The SNU Global MBA program provides an optional dual-degree program that allows students to receive a Duke degree and an SNU degree. To apply for the dual-degree program, GMAT and TOEFL scores should meet the admission criteria of Duke University. Applicants must go through screening process and hold interviews with both SNU and Duke University.

Eligibility for Application

General Application

- All applicants are required to have bachelor’s degree or equivalent.


- All applicants are required to have minimum of two years of full-time working experience.


- All applicants are required to have English proficiency test score. Minimum scores that we admitted are TEPS(701) or TOEFL(CBT 227, IBT 86, PBT 567) or IELTS(6.5) taken within 2 years from admission deadline.


* Applicants who hold bachelor’s or higher degree from the institution in English speaking countries are exempted from submission of English proficiency test score.


* Opportunities for admissions interview is limited and are conducted solely by the invitation of the admission committee.

International Application

Prospective students who regard oneself as international applicants must satisfy one of the given requirements as below;

1) Both the applicant him/herself and both parents must hold the foreign nationality other than Korea.
or


2) Those of who have completed elementary/secondary and university education abroad withbachelor's degree or the equivalent.


In addition, the following three requirements must be met,


- All international applicants are required to hold bachelor’s degree or equivalent.


- All international applicants are required to have minimum of two years of full-time working experience.


- All applicants are required to have English proficiency test score. Minimum scores that we admit are TEPS(701) or TOEFL(CBT 227, IBT 86, PBT 567) or IELTS(6.5) taken within 2 year from admission deadline.


* Applicants who have received bachelor’s or higher degree from the institution in English speaking countries or who have worked for at least 3 years in English speaking countries are exempted from submission of English proficiency test score.
