Master in Risk Management

This course enables candidates to develop the required expertise to support an organization in implementing and managing Risk as specified in ISO 31000. Candidates gain a thorough understanding of the best practices used to appropriately manage risks across all the principles of ISO 31000.

Candidates develop the competence to apply ISO 31000 risk management framework, principles and procedures to a risk management program. Through practical exercises, candidates acquire the necessary skills to perform an optimal risk assessment and manage risks on time while taking into consideration their life cycle.

During the course, candidates are introduced to ISO 31000 general risk management standard, the process model it recommends, and learn how companies may use the standard. This course is fully compatible with IEC/ISO 31010 which supports ISO 31000 by providing guidance for risk assessment.
