The idea generated from Mr. Eric Lachapelle and Mr. Faton Aliu, founders of PECB Inc., who, accounting for the success of PECB as a global training provider, sought to identify new opportunities for expansion in the market of educational services. The positive feedback and the constant return of certified professionals for additional trainings landed greater support to the view that new options could be explored and exploited to provide additional appealing opportunities for further academic advancements. Accounting for the already established reputation as a provider of professional trainings, and being able to associate elements of comparability between the provided trainings and courses of higher education around the content, extent, and quality, the idea to offer encompassing programs that lead to graduate certificates and degrees appeared even more possible.
