The weekend MBA format

LSB Weekend-MBA has been designed to offer maximum flexibility to full-time working professionals while retaining the face-to-face aspect of the MBA program. This combination results in a dynamic and flexible program that reinforces participants’ careers and develops their skills and competencies.

• Duration: 2 Years. LSB Weekend-MBA is a 24-month-long program divided into 6 modules, each lasting 15 weeks.

• Format: Classes take place on alternating weekends (Friday evening from 6 pm to 9 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm).

• Language: English.

Synergies

Pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree while working full-time is indeed a challenging yet rewarding experience. Doing both at the same time creates synergies. Our participants work full-time and go to class two weekends per month, where they exchange ideas, acquire new competencies and learn new concepts which can then be immediately applied in their everyday work.

The Weekend-MBA program will enable you to constantly reflect on, and improve your everyday work.

Weekend MBA Program:

There are six modules in the Weekend-MBA curriculum, each of which is 15 weeks in length. Duration of the program is 24 months, with classes taking place every other weekend (Friday from 6PM to 9PM and Saturday from 9AM to 5PM).

Individual course work amounts to 20 hours per week including face to face classes.

Double Degree Program with Boston University:

The Luxembourg School of Business offers the opportunity to simultaneously pursue two Master degrees. With the Double Degree Program, you can customize your master degree program according to your professional project.

• LSB Weekend MBA + M.S. in Project Management at B.U.

This option is designed for professionals who wish to complement their MBA with their passion for project management. The curriculum provides students with the necessary tools and techniques to monitor and track project costs and schedules. Students will develop the ability to manage resources, communications, and complex projects to successful completion within a specific timeframe and budget.

• LSB Weekend MBA + M.S. in Risk Management at B.U.

This option is designed for professionals looking to learn or update their skills and ability to contribute to enterprise risk planning and execution. This program provides the necessary tools and concepts to plan, prevent and—when needed—successfully respond to disruptions in complex business operations.

• LSB Weekend MBA + M.S. in Global Marketing Management at B.U.

This option is designed for professionals who have a passion for marketing and want to dive deep into this field to acquire broader knowledge and understanding about market research, decision-making and advanced marketing techniques needed to excel in a global marketing field.

• LSB Weekend MBA + M.S. in Applied Business Analytics at B.U.

This option provides comprehensive coverage of state-of-the-art concepts, techniques, and tools used in the process of data-driven business decision-making. Whether studying online or on-campus, students gain hands-on experience with a variety of analytical models and decision-support tools, and to apply them to interlinked data-inputs and large data sets in the areas of marketing, operations, product, and technology innovations, financial services, and others.

• LSB Weekend MBA + M.S. in Financial Management at B.U.

This option provides students with specialized education in global finance, including investment analysis and international finance. Available on-campus and online, the Financial Management master’s program is designed for students seeking careers in corporate finance, financial management, investments, and multinational finance.

• LSB Weekend MBA + M.S. in Supply Chain Management at B.U.

This option examines the design, optimization, and operation of a global supply chain. The curriculum covers the essentials of lean production, global supply chain coordination, risk mitigation, strategic logistics management, and import-export operations. Graduates of the program will be able to analyze and improve business process flows and become confident decision-makers who will lead change and offer creative solutions that ensure prompt delivery of goods and services in an ever-changing global environment.
