Introduction
The Executive MBA programme has been popular with students from a wide variety of backgrounds for many years.
The programme is organised on a part-time, day-release/evening basis. Attendance will be required on Wednesdays from 19h00 to 21h00 and on Thursdays from 13h00 to 21h00 every weekduring the academic year. The programme also requires at least 12 hours of private study per week each semester.
A limited amount of additional time (up to two days in each semester) is normally required for assessment purposes.
* Features of the Programme
- Additional learning opportunities:
are facilitated by the pattern of weekly attendance. This is particularly the case with Languages: courses in French, German, Spanish and Japanese are provided for MBA students (subject to a satisfactory level of demand) on an optional, non-graded basis and are included in the basic fee.
- Major Project:
a significant project is begun in the summer period between Years 1 and 2, developed during the second year and completed for submission in the summer following conclusion of the taught element of the programmes.
- International (European) workshop:
a one-week residential programme will be held at a European location, which is designed to develop international perspectives and an understanding of contemporary European issues.
