Career Opportunities
Career Possibilities
The IU MBA with a specialisation in Artificial Intelligence is designed to help you succeed in specialised positions, in an industry that breaks new ground each day. After graduating, you can work as an AI team lead, overseeing the training and development of young AI specialists; or as an AI interaction designer, and work on robotics implementation in different sectors.
AI team lead
AI Team leads need to be proficient in a wide range of skills. They are typically charged with the development of a team of senior and junior AI specialists—including hiring and personnel decisions. Team leads are typically also responsible for ensuring all projects are run on-scope and deliver high-quality results. As a team leader, you are often engaged with the internal and external stakeholders of projects and are consulted in the setup and financial scoping of new projects.
AI product manager
Your specialised knowledge will mean you know how to implement business principles into a company's AI project. This requires not only good business skills but knowledge of the product you are trying to work with. You will need to recognise the challenges of implementing the changes to a previously existing business process, as well as the ramifications to the company over the short and long term.
Your career? International!
Whether it is at a global medium-sized company or at a multinational corporation abroad – the IU prepares you well for the global job market. The numbers speak for themselves: 3 out of 4 of our graduates work in an international environment, and every third person works abroad.
