IMD’s EMBA program is a rigorous, modular MBA, comprised of four major elements: business fundamentals, globalization, company-based assignments and execution.

Content

Business problems almost never fit into neat categories. That’s why we structure our program around themes rather than around courses or individual functions. The Executive MBA aims to address problems and develop approaches to problems and opportunities in the context in which you’ll find them in your workplace.

There are 6 modules which can be completed in as little as 16 months or spread over 3 years or more. The total time you'll be out of the office is 16.5 weeks. The first two modules of the Executive MBA take place in the Program for Executive Development (PED). You can complete the first two modules over ten consecutive weeks, or with a break of three, six or twelve months between modules. You can then start the third module, your gateway to the remainder of the program, in November of the following year.
