What is Ofqual?
The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) is the regulator of qualifications, examinations, and assessments in England and the regulator of vocational qualifications in Northern Ireland. It is responsible for ensuring that all qualifications and assessment meet high-quality standards by monitoring awarding organizations, assessments and examinations and taking the necessary action to ensure that the qualifications meet the needs of learners, higher education institutions and employers. The Ofqual is responsible to the Parliament and the Northern Ireland Assembly.
What is ATHE?
Awards for Training and Higher Education provide a wide variety of qualifications, such as administrative management and business to name a few. ATHE learners can cut the amount of time and money they spend on achieving a degree by more than half. This is because ATHE has special arrangements with a range of universities that enable learners to skip an entire year’s study of the degree for every level they achieve with ATHE.
ATHE is regulated by Ofqual (regulatory body in England) and approved by Knowledge Human Development Authority (KHDA). This enables students to a range of universities in the UK and any university in Dubai, UAE.
