Introduction
The part-time General Management course leads to a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. It is accredited by FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation). The MBA is internationally oriented in its content and teaches more than 30 percent of the entire material in English.
The content is conveyed by the lecturers from the perspective of a general manager. He must recognize the strategic challenges, translate them into goals and visions and get the employees excited about them. The MBA course provides the necessary specialist knowledge (business skills) in the areas of corporate management, personnel management, business administration and law, but above all provides the recognition and mastery of contextual knowledge for corporate management (management development, business management).
The MBA course at the FHDW combines established MBA elements with important subject areas such as personal development, leadership and globalization as well as intensive feedback. Modern learning methods such as action learning and a business simulation set new standards. A one-week excursion to Shanghai in China and to Hyderabad in India enable participants to experience globalization up close and personal.
