Belo Horizonte Institute of Higher Education (Instituto Belo Horizonte de Ensino Superior (IBHES))
Introduction
The Belo Horizonte Institute of Higher Education - IBHES - started its activities in February 2003 and its mission is to promote, through the dissemination of knowledge, the training of its students as participatory citizens and committed to society, respecting man, their culture, their values , and the environment.
In our teaching methodology, we are concerned with associating theory with practice, training professionals who have the competence to implement the knowledge acquired at the Institution in synergy with the social, cultural, and technological transformations of a highly competitive economy.
Our mission also includes the development of partnerships with the community in order to improve the quality of life of people and awaken the student interest in Research and Extension activities.
The IBHES is developing a highly participatory management model where teachers, staff, and students are invited to express their ideas creatively and consistently, thus enabling a transparent link between students, faculty, staff, and institution.
The IBHES is maintained by the Company Unified Paulista Higher Education - Supero, a corporate private, non-profit organization, with headquarters in Sao Paulo.
The courses are governed by higher education legislation, the Statute of the Maintainer, and the Institute's Rules of Procedure.
