Admissions
Scholarships and Funding
The ALSS offers a limited number of scholarships. The scholarship is granted based on academic excellence civic responsibility and engagement.
The ALSS scholarship is available for all students who are registered in one of our graduate master's programs.
You apply for an ALSS scholarship after you have applied for one of the master's programs. This scholarship covers tuition fees in part. The available level of tuition fee reduction is between 10% and 30% depending on the candidate’s academic excellence and civic responsibility and engagement.
Note:
- The scholarship application will be considered only if the application/registration fee of SFR 300 has been paid.
- The first 15 registered students per master's program that apply for a scholarship and prove their academic excellence civic responsibility and engagement will receive it.
Application Procedure For Scholarship
- You apply for registration in one of our programs, by sending us all the documents required.
- The ALSS will inform you via e-mail if you fulfil the requirements to be accepted into the master's program.
- If the ALSS confirms that you fulfil the requirements to be accepted, this confirmation is valid for 20 days, within this period you have to pay the registration fee of SFR 300.
- After receiving the registration payment, ALSS will send you an official letter of acceptance.
- After receiving the letter of acceptance from us you can apply for our scholarship, by sending us the scholarship application letter.
- The ALSS will inform you within 10 days if you are eligible for our scholarship or not.
The Scholarship Application Letter Should Include:
- Individual determination to succeed.
- Future goals and plans to achieve them.
- Self-motivation in completing challenging coursework.
- Volunteerism, service learning, fieldwork or internships that show civic responsibility and engagement.
Curriculum
Our fast-paced program allows you to complete our 10 eight-week courses (30 credit hours) in 12 months. Courses are delivered in person or synchronously online
- MKTG 654 – Marketing Management: This course addresses the strategic marketing challenges managers face, including evaluating marketing opportunities, selecting target markets, developing strategies, planning tactics, and implementing and controlling marketing efforts
- MGMT 635 – Managing Individuals, Teams, and Organizations: Focuses on understanding and managing behaviour within organizations, covering motivation, teamwork, culture, leadership, and other factors affecting individual, group, and organizational effectiveness
- ACCY 640 - Financial Statement Analysis and Cost Management: Explores the use of accounting information for strategic decision-making, emphasizing financial reporting, planning, decision-making, and control in various organizations
- OMIS 697 - Digital Transformation Strategy: Examines issues related to the digital transformation of organizations, emphasizing the strategic alignment of information technology with business goals through case studies and strategic information management models
- MGMT 655 – Change Management: Studies approaches to managing change, including the use of diagnostic tools, evaluation of intervention strategies, and factors influencing support for or resistance to change within organizations
- OMIS 680 – Global Supply Chain Management: Investigates supply chain systems' design and administration, focusing on executive decision-making, supply chain strategy, strategic alliances, technology use, and global logistical operations
- FINA 607 - Financial Analysis: Analyzes financial positions for decision-making, covering ratio analysis, funds sources and uses, leverage, capital budgeting, cost of capital, and financial structure. The course involves problem-solving and case studies
- MGMT 647 - International Management: Focuses on managing cultural aspects of global business dynamics, strategic international expansion, competition, organizational relationships, and international human resource management
- MGMT 672 - Strategic Management and Policy: A capstone course designed to develop strategic thinking skills for identifying issues, analyzing internal and external factors, developing alternatives, and implementing strategies and policies. It integrates functional knowledge, behavioural concepts, and analytical tools
- USBS 585 – Neuroleadership in Business: Explores Neuroleadership's impact on business, delving into the neurological and psychological aspects of leadership. Topics include brain-based communication, ethical considerations, leadership styles, cultural influences, neuroscience-based decision-making, and emotional intelligence.
