About Romania
About Romania
Romania is a country in Southeastern Europe between Bulgaria and Ukraine with a border on the Black Sea. Other countries with which it shares borders include Hungary, Moldava and Serbia. Summers are sunny with frequent rain showers, and winters are cold and cloudy with a lot of snow and fog. In 1989, Romania began transitioning from Communism and is now a republic. The economy has had its ups and downs, with the greatest growth coming from exports. The country is home to some gorgeous landscapes, with perhaps its most famous draw being the Carpathian Mountains, given as the home of Dracula in the novel by Bram Stoker.
