About Kenya

Kenya is an African country lying on the equator and bordered by Tanzania, Somalia, Ethiopia, South Sudan and Uganda. Many of the 45 million Kenyans live in the capital of Nairobi, a regional commercial and financial center home to 100+ international organizations such as the United Nations Environment Program, the headquarters for the United Nations in the Middle East and Africa and the Nairobi Stock Exchange. Kenya enjoys a lucrative tourism industry supported by its wildlife reserves, safaris and national park system.

A presidential representative democratic country where the President is both the head of government and head of state, Kenya currently operates over 20 public universities, 15 private (chartered) universities and large number of colleges and vocational schools.

Why Earn a Business Degree in Kenya?

Students earning a business degree in Africa will likely find employment in Kenya's steady tourism and telecommunications sector if they desire to remain in Kenya but may need to take their degree elsewhere to find a position in another type of business industry. Most international students attending a Kenyan university do so because they want to explore Africa's many fascinating attractions, immerse themselves in the culture and learn about Kenya's wildlife and tribal traditions.
