Program Description

Sofaer International MBA

Tel Aviv University

The IMBA's 1-year curriculum combines a foundational core in business management with a wide-variety of advanced courses focused on entrepreneurship, innovation, and technology. Course offerings include Projects, a course that connects small-groups of students with Israeli hi-tech companies for consulting-style projects, and Delta Startup Studio, Israel's first pre-accelerator for student-driven ventures. Additionally, students have access to direct career support, including the program's extensive internship program with companies ranging from NICE Systems to startups within 8200 EISP, the accelerator program of Israel's elite intelligence unit 8200.

Admission Requirements:

Bachelor's degree, GMAT or GRE, with 2-4 years of experience.

Program Focus

  • Venture Founders & Startup Builders
  • Company Innovators

Who Studies in the MBA:

Designed for international, Israeli and Palestinian students, the average Sofaer IMBA class hosts 44 students from 15 countries. Most IMBA students begin their studies after four years of work experience. The majority speak more than one language and have lived and/or worked in more than one country by the time of application.

Investing in the venture called "you"

The Sofaer IMBA is an investment in yourself as well as your future career. Nonetheless, returning to study for a master's level degree is an expense for which you must plan accordingly. It is important to adequately prepare for the financial expenses related to being a student, including tuition and living expenses.

The Sofaer International MBA's intense 1-year schedule prohibits working during the first two modules of the program. By Module 3, students have more flexibility to take on part-time internships or employment (for Israeli students or students with work visas). However, students are strongly advised to remember that the demands of the program's 1-year curriculum prioritize studies and internships over all else.

Tuition includes:

  • Textbooks and course materials
  • Hebrew classes
  • Health insurance for international students
  • Academic exchange tuition
