The structure and rigor of HCM program are similar to general MBA with additional courses related to healthcare sector. It is meant for those interested in making a management career in the healthcare & life-sciences sector which is comprised of various domains such as Healthcare Consulting, Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare IT, Hospitals, Public Health and Health Insurance. Students of HCM are taught all management courses with its applications in the healthcare field.
The curriculum is designed in such a way to include discourse on global health and comparative health analyses between different countries. Courses on Global health diplomacy, Health Financing, Introduction to Pharmaceuticals, etc. provide a candidate with a wide gamut of international healthcare settings.
GIM has tie-ups with six European business schools which welcome our candidates for Joint Internships and research projects. Every year, more than 5 candidates visit one of our partner institutions to gather invaluable experience.

1. Does the program have any accreditations?
GIM is a proud member of The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The programme is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and we have recently applied for National Board of Accreditation certification which would make it to ‘equivalent to MBA’ program.
2. How different is it from a Master of Public Health (MPH) program?
A typical MPH program focuses more on Public Health systems and their functioning, i.e. on hospitals, insurance and pharmaceuticals. Our program is broader in its structure and is meant for managers in healthcare domain which encompasses all stakeholders including IT companies and think tanks. We prepare future leaders who could shape health policies in the future and join the industry with a focus on sustainability.
3. Is it a residential program?
Yes, candidates are required to stay on the picturesque campus with comfortable student housing with all state of the art facilities available round the clock.
