Masters in Business Administration
The Master of Business Administration Degree is 36 semester hours in duration. It consists of two modules. The first module is made up of 27 semester credit hours, all of which are required r completion of the degree program. These courses include coursework in general business and management, finance and financial policy, marketing, and strategic decision-making. The second module, which gives the student the opportunity to concentrate on the specific skills and knowledge required to successfully manage an organization, offers an additional 9 semester credit hours, which includes completion of a capstone course providing the student the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills obtained during this program.
The objective of the Master of Business Administration Degree is to provide advanced training in the field of Business administration. Students graduating from this graduate-level program will have received instruction in significant areas of business operations and be equipped to participate in high-level decision making in the areas of Management, Marketing, Human resources, Accounting, and Managerial Finance. The perspective f this program is practical rather than theoretical, though a strong theoretical underpinning will bolster the practical considerations presented. The MBA program is also available online. Those who opt for the online degree program will complete the following courses on-ground at Millennia Atlantic University’s campus in Doral, Florida: Organizations and Leadership (MGT 520), Business Strategies and Policy Decision Making (BUS 532), and the aster’s Capstone Course (MGT 550).
