During the master's degree the students will receive classes of experts who occupy positions that are very relevant in the sector and which will transmit their experience providing a cutting-edge vision.

Throughout the course there will also be visits to events in which the student will be in direct contact with the management of this type of events.

There will also be two trips to London (the site of the last edition of the Olympic Games) and New York (a world reference in the sports industry) that will be essential to enrich and expand the vision with different management models.

The approach with which the trips are designed is eminently formative and of knowledge extension "in situ", having teaching sessions and conferences as well as visits to sports venues.

Due to the nature of the same, the assistance to the whole of the designed program is mandatory, counting the lack of attendance for the total calculation of the MBA.Differential aspects of the Master:

METHODOLOGY AND VISITS:

The Master follows the methodology of the case together with the theoretical and practical development of each of the subjects taught.

The subjects are distributed in ten modules. Each module is structured as follows:

  • 25% theoretical initial (general concepts)
  • 50% theoretical-practical development
  • 25% practical cases

In the Master's Degree MBA in Management of Sports Entities, "Alfredo Di Stéfano" are taught throughout the year, monographic sessions related to the following areas:

  • Sports and health (medical centers, fitness, doping)
  • Visit to the facilities of the London 2012 Olympic Games
  • Asphalt sports (motorcycling, motorsport, cycling)
  • Organization of major events: O2 Arena, ATP World Tour Finals, Tennis Master Series and Wimbledon, among others
  • American sport (NBA, NHL, NFL, MLS)
  • Sports sponsorship and marketing companies: IMG, Mindshare and Optagon, among others.

Throughout the course there are also visits to sporting events so that the student knows first-hand the management of this type of events.
