The MBA is a 39 credit hour track that can be completed in as little as five terms. Because of the individual nature of the program, students can take classes at their own pace so actual completion time will vary by student.
A well-rounded curriculum
Our MBA program with a Concentration track is designed to help you learn the hard and soft skills to help you manage an organization in today's competitive business environment.
You can choose from 12 concentrations or customize your program with our Cross-Functional option.
The MBA curriculum is divided into three key areas:
- Value Creation Core (15 credit hours)
- Concentration/Electives (15 credit hours)
- Integrated Advanced Core (9 credit hours)
All core courses, as well as many elective courses, are offered in both on-ground or online formats, with many offered in a hybrid (blended) formats, giving you the option to combine course formats based on your personal preference or travel/work schedules. Onground courses are offered weeknights and/or weekends giving students the opportunity to schedule classes around their busy lives. With online courses, you never have to step into the classroom so you can complete your program from anywhere in the world.
The Graduate School of Management uses a trimester system, with fall, spring and summer terms. With year-round classes and multiple starting points each term, students can choose from 12 weeks 6 week, intensives or intermester classes.

The University of Dallas was one of the first schools in the United States to create an MBA program with working professionals in mind. Since 1966, our focus has been on providing convenience and flexibility to our students while ensuring a high quality, hands-on learning experience through the guidance of industry-experienced professors and real-world case-studies and projects like the Capstone Experience.
The Capstone Experience is the final class for every MBA student and is an actual hands-on, customer-requested consulting project completed from start to finish with a real world client. Past clients have included companies as varied as the Dallas Mavericks, Lehigh Hanson and Big Brothers/Big Sisters.
