Program Description

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) aims to develop in students the ability of research and analysis, synthesis and creativity while stressing the vital importance of information and technological development and raising awareness of ethical, social, environmental, and international issues affecting administrative decisions. The aim of the MBA is that students improve their interpersonal skills throughout their studies through teamwork. The group activities are part of the assessment methods in most courses of the program.

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) Programme of the Neapolis University in Cyprus is designed in a way that teaches students the latest theories and applications of management science and gives the opportunity to specialize in selected fields. The Master of Business Administration (MBA) provides knowledge and skills in an environment that develops students’ ability to make decisions related to their field, to deepen and broaden their knowledge in the operation and management of businesses.

The teaching method in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program is participatory and interactive so that students can develop their interpersonal skills through active participation in the learning process and through the institution of collective work, which is the standard method for developing team skills.

The Dissertation of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) is an important part of our pedagogical philosophy and provides an opportunity for students to develop an independent and critical approach to the analysis of business situations.

Business game

Students of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) also participate in the business game. As part of this process, students formulate a business problem, which simulates reality and devise a business plan to solve it by developing their capacity for decision-making.

Administrative Skills Seminar

It consists of a series of workshops providing basic administrative skills to students of the Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Tourism Management

The Specialization of Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Tourism Management provides the student with expertise in hotel management, the economics of tourism, tourism marketing, and tourism communication strategies.

This specialization of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) analyzes the economic structure of the tourism industry and the prospects of the tourism industry. The course of quantitative analysis helps the student to understand the different statistical analysis methods and how they are applied in examining problems of the Tourist Industry.

The course of Development and Management of Tourist Destinations Resorts is an innovative course as it is done in conjunction with practice in large hotels, where the student passes all stages of specialization.
