Program Description

Seton Hall University's Stillman School of Business offers a world-class graduate education and is among a select few with AACSB accreditation in both business and accounting. The Stillman School is home to a top-ranked M.B.A. program -- ranked the #97 part-time M.B.A. by U.S. News and World Report. There is a unique emphasis on ethics and leading with a purpose that makes the program truly stand apart.

Flexibility from Application to Graduation

When you apply to the Stillman School we assess your candidacy based on many dimensions. For example, if you demonstrate an aptitude for graduate business study, there are admission paths that do not require the GMAT or GRE as well as Alternate Route Admissions for those with significant work experience. The School's 40-credit program is also flexible. Catering to the working professional, we offer on-campus evening classes as well as some hybrid and online courses.

Valuable Connections

From day one you will participate in our “Launch Experience” immediately connecting you with distinguished faculty, industry experts, and your peers — many of whom are working professionals from leading companies. Throughout the program, you will also connect with the Stillman School’s alumni network as well as benefit from our strong corporate ties.

Skills to Advance Your Career

“Transforming concepts into practice” is a cornerstone of the program. This means a focus on applied learning by our faculty and in our Centers -- gaining real-world insights and management skills you can immediately apply to the workplace. At the end of the program you develop a strategic consulting plan for a real client, applying the functional and cross-functional business knowledge and critical thinking skills learned in and out of the classroom.

M.B.A. Concentrations

You will have the option to choose a general learning track or one of our eight concentrations, including an M.B.A.-level specialization in sports management -- one of the few in the country.

We also offer two 5-year B.S./M.B.A. programs that help exceptional undergraduate students get a head start in their career.

Not Ready for the Full Degree?

If you are not ready for a graduate degree and want to develop a specific expertise, you can pursue one or more of the nine graduate business certificates offered. Complete your certificate with a GPA of 3.3 or higher and receive admission into the M.B.A. program – no GMAT required. In addition, all certificate credits will count toward the M.B.A. degree.

Or, if you would prefer to take one or two courses before being formally accepted into the program, you can always begin as a non-matriculated student.
