Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) International Business

General

Program Description

The world is changing rapidly, and business is no exception. With this concentration, you'll have the global and cross-cultural knowledge you need to excel.

Our program combines a strong core curriculum with electives that let you map your own path, and we keep the whole thing streamlined to just 40 credits. We welcome both full- and part-time students, and we offer small and flexible classes to accommodate your schedule.

On top of a hands-on classroom education, we also offer study abroad opportunities; through our "Doing Business In" series, students have traveled to China, Ireland, India, Peru, Egypt and other countries. There, they experience the culture while learning about business from corporate representatives.

Curriculum

With a focus on an ethics-centered education, our M.B.A. starts with a core curriculum that covers accounting, economics, the behavioral and quantitative sciences, and the functional areas of business.

With this concentration, you may study international accounting and market dynamics one semester, then global strategy and analytical methods the next. To round out your business education, you'll select several electives from a field in the M.B.A. curriculum other than international business.

At the end of the program, you'll have the opportunity to apply the knowledge gained and consult with an actual client in our M.B.A. consulting course.

Program Faculty

Many of our full-time faculty have attended top Ph.D. programs and are in demand as lecturers, consultants, and media experts. Stillman School faculty provide an academic experience characterized by high faculty-student engagement, often partnering with students on research and other projects.
