About

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree program provides an educational emphasis on leadership, offers a broad perspective of business, and is designed to develop and enhance the business skills and knowledge that are valuable to managers, executives, and administrators. The interdisciplinary program includes coursework in accounting, marketing, management, finance, economics, legal and social environment of business, data analytics, and management information systems. International business and business ethics are integrated throughout the program.

Admissions Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • 2.5 or better GPA overall or last 60 hours
  • 430 or better GMAT score (GMAT waived with a 3.0 or better GPA or 3 years meaningful business experience)
  • Professional resume

Prerequisites

Students who hold an undergraduate business degree should be prepared to start the MBA. Those without a business degree may be required to complete foundation requirements online through IVY MBA PrepWorks in the following areas:

  • Financial Accounting
  • Managerial Accounting
  • Fundamentals of Economics
  • Understanding Corporate Finance
  • Principles of Management
  • Principles of Marketing
  • Business Math and Statistics
  • Excel for MBA Students

Foundation requirements are determined on a case-by-case basis.

Available 100% Online and Face-to-Face on Campus

Our online MBA can be accessed all over the globe. The 30 credit hour MBA program is designed to meet the needs of working professionals in a wide range of business fields. The online sections are offered in five 8-week terms throughout the year (Fall I, Fall II, Spring I, Spring II, and Summer). The face-to-face/hybrid MBA sections are offered in traditional 16-week terms during the Fall and Spring.

Fees & Scholarships

Carr Graduate Scholarships are ASU’s premier scholarships for graduate students. Awards are based on undergraduate GPA. Students are considered for the Carr Graduate Scholarship upon their acceptance into the College of Graduate Studies.

Non-Texas Residents who are awarded the Carr Graduate Scholarship of at least $1,000 also qualify to pay in-state tuition and fees. This would be a saving of about 50% on tuition and fees for out-of-state students and International students.
