Program Description

After 13 years of existence, the specialized MBA in Luxury and Fashion Management and Marketing is now known and recognized as one of the best means of entry in these fields of activity.

Its aim is to provide students – beyond the knowledge and analytical tools relating to such economic, artistic, and cultural sectors – the essential skills needed or desired in order to apprehend a professional management role in these industries. This may include the roles of manager, product manager, purchasing manager, operations director, retail director, visual merchandising director, communication manager, event manager, or even retail training director.

Starting from the fundamental fields of these activities’ fundamental fields – namely, creation, fashion, and contemporary art –  this specific management course questions the notions of design and fashion under their historical, geographical, and sociological aspects. This course constitutes a genuine fashion marketing training for students.

It also considers the “digital, emerging countries, new economy” components that form part of the skillset sought-out by companies.

Objectives

As a multidisciplinary degree capable of anticipating and even triggering changes, young executives who follow this training are prepared for the various functions covered by management: creation, identification of future opportunities, project engineering in all its forms – production, marketing, finance, management control, team management, and change management.

The MBA in Luxury and Fashion Management and Marketing is organized as follows: courses, tutorials, conferences, luxury forums, guided tours, meetings with institutions of luxury, fashion and contemporary art, case studies, project workshops, real business cases covering a team study, astonishment report, internship, and end-of-cycle dissertation.

Requirements

For all of its courses, the School receives applications all year long: spanning from January to December.

Candidate screening is performed with the help of an application file (including CV + application question form), followed by an interview.

Prerequisites:

  •  Successful or in progress Undergraduate degree for a two-year course (Master 1 and 2 programs).
  •  Successful or in progress Master’s 1 degree for one academic year (Master 2 program).
  •  Business executives may also apply.
