The Early Career MBA is a unique, 18-month cohort designed for talented people with less than four years of professional experience who need to build their resume, as well as gain graduate-level academic experience.
The track is ideal for recent graduates of both business and non-business programs who are motivated to get an MBA while gaining work experience. We welcome graduates of liberal arts programs who meet our admissions requirements. Early Career MBA cohorts must complete four guided professional experience requirements. These may be fulfilled through profit or non-profit, paid or unpaid, full-time, part-time or temporary positions during the course of study. Within specified parameters, you may complete the experience requirement with a single employer.
A Network for Life
The Early Career MBA is a cohort track which means that the students enrolled follow the same class schedule throughout their MBA with only a few elective exceptions. It follows our MBA curriculum and you receive the same degree as all MBA students in our programs, but it also has a guided professional experience requirement that is completed during your course of study.
Admission to the Early Career MBA track is selective and is based on an evaluation of your academic and professional background including:
•Less than four years of managerial or professional experience
•Undergraduate academic record
•GMAT or GRE required
Students who do not have a Bachelors Degree in a Business Field are encouraged to apply by the Early Decision deadline in order to ensure they will have met any foundations requirements by the time the cohort begins. Please discuss this with us as early as possible in the admissions process. If you hold a three-year undergraduate degree, please contact us to discuss your options.
