We pay special attention to the selection of lecturers. Three criteria stand out as the most important to us. Lecturers should understand what an individual approach to a participant means. Moreover, they should effectively act on this understanding. The individual approach entails motivating participants to use acquired knowledge and competencies in practice. The Mayans and other Mesoamericans knew the wheel but did not make any use of it in production and transportation. Of course, mountainous terrain and lack of suitable animals may account for this lack of imagination, but the mindless repetition of existing patterns played a role too. We will teach you how to evaluate constraints and alter conditions rather than succumb to them.
Another criterion is a lecturer’s clear understanding of how much theory she/he should insert into her/his instruction. Everybody realizes that a proper balance is crucial here. Finally, among lecturers are not only our faculty members but also visiting professors/experts. A right degree of internationalization is the third important criterion.
The admissions procedure is swift and straightforward. Here it is explained step by step.
You collect the following documents in electronic format:
- A completed application form (received from us or generated through our website),
- A copy of your BA/BSc diploma along with its transcript,
- A copy of your official ID.
If your diploma and transcript are not issued in Polish, English, German, Russian or Ukrainian, you will have to send us their authorized translations.
We do not ask you to prove your English proficiency. We take it for granted that you are conscious of the fact that the MBA studies are taught in English and that your spoken and written English should be good enough to complete the studies successfully. Please note that during the admissions procedure we conduct screening of candidates’ command of English. The Admissions Committee usually makes its decision in a week or two. Upon the positive decision, you are sent a letter of acceptance, the Rules and regulations of Studies, an agreement with the School and a module schedule.
We do not charge an application fee. You just send your application documents and wait for our decision. If we need to clarify some matters, we will contact you. Once accepted, you will become part of a big family – an association of people who although appreciate the importance of learning about 24 methods of profit generation, 12 ways to become a great business leader or 7 steps to your professional success, are keen not only on efficiency but also on understanding why certain processes are there, why things are arranged this way and not the other, and how one may and actually should develop her/his talents and fulfil her/his destination.
