International MBA

This one year program completely taught in English is aimed at young managers with the potential of being global business leaders. The program equips them with an in-depth understanding of the European business context and builds the skills necessary to excel in complex international settings in top management positions or to start their own companies.

Program Objectives

The International MBA program is designed by drawing from our long experience in training highly skilled managers and by incorporating key elements to an international program. Case discussions allow participants to exchange ideas with participants from all over the world. Teamwork provides an opportunity to collaborate with people having different professional backgrounds and thus varied perspectives on business issues. It is the perfect launch pad for a successful career in international business and for obtaining top management positions.

Program Content

IMBA is a full-time program combined theoretical understanding with practical experience and skill development. Thus, through the curriculum, participants acquire essential knowledge in management together with the ability to apply it to concrete business situations.

Participants start the program with a Foundation Module to master necessary skills to succeed with the program's courses. Later, core courses provide a robust foundation of key business and leadership competencies (e.g. People and Organizations, Business Economics, Strategic Management).

This is followed by “Advanced” and “Extension” modules which provide candidates with a deeper understanding of complex issues in the business world (e.g. Innovation Management, International Negotiation, International Human Resources Management) and an opportunity to explore different business interests.

The mandatory development of a “Business Plan” puts theory into practice. Throughout the program, an international perspective is maintained.

Application Process

Admission is based on each student’s online application available at http://apply.ieseg.fr and the review of the required documents, as well as the result of a mandatory interview with the recruitment staff. Rolling admission is offered to qualified students starting in October 2019.
