The INSEEC MBA taught in English, enables participants to understand the complex aspects of companies operating in a multicultural, European context and to develop skills allowing them to fill top management positions.
It is aimed at both students (with a four-year postsecondary degree) and professionals. The curriculum includes core courses in marketing, law, finance and general business practices.
In addition to core courses, the participants are required to choose a field of concentration (finance, marketing, human resources or luxury). Great emphasis is placed on cross-cultural management issues and on recent or emerging trends in the European business environment.
Participants will also attend a seminar in personal management, aimed at developing their interview skills when seeking employment with top European companies and at enhancing their skills in project management and team-work. The seminar will provide students with advice on writing résumés and managing business meetings.
A number of visits to companies are scheduled throughout the academic year. Besides, participants will be invited to conferences given by prominent European managers.
Courses are available in Excel and PowerPoint applications. Finally, participants may attend language courses in French, Japanese, Spanish, German or Italian.
The proliferation of MBA courses has meant that it is becoming increasingly difficult to differentiate between the various programs offered by universities and management schools throughout the world.
Students wishing to pursue an MBA course must be able to choose the program that best fits their requirements as well as their personal profile. The INSEEC MBA program, even if it remains broadly general on an academic level, meets three objectives.
First, it trains students to be fully operational managers in a wide variety of business sectors, enabling them to work anywhere in the world and to head a multidisciplinary team. Second, it instills the qualities of adaptability, mobility, and leadership around a highly diversified approach to business. Third, we have a distinct international dimension with teachers of different nationalities (American, British, French, Spanish…) and we can offer students the chance of obtaining a dual diploma from a stay abroad either on an exchange basis or in an internship (Australia, New York, London, Barcelona).
Taken together, these features mean that students will be equipped for a wide variety of professional situations on an international level.
