The Simmons Health Care MBA (HCMBA) is a part-time 54-credit AACSB and CAHME-accredited program that combines the best of both degrees. This strategically designed three-year program incorporates the strengths of our nationally recognized MBA Program with the expertise of our healthcare faculty and an extensive health care curriculum.
Typically, health care courses comprise 20 percent of many MBA programs with a health care concentration; in the Simmons Health Care MBA, they're 67 percent.
Simmons's unique program educates women and men for performance-based accountability through a rigorous applied management approach. Health care provider, payer, and government employers, in particular, are looking for the big-picture business skills of an MBA plus the strong healthcare focus of an advanced healthcare degree.
