Program Description

The Full-Time MBA is an innovative accelerated 13-month program that creates exceptional career advancement by combining our proven curriculum with significant paid internship opportunities.*

This program is perfect for recent graduates who have limited or no professional experience, and working professionals who desire to get their MBA quickly. Evening classes accommodate students choosing to do an internship and the established professional who wants an accelerated program. Cohort size is limited to 50-60 students and admission is competitive.

Admission Requirements

Below is a checklist intended to help with the admissions process. It is recommended that your application be submitted within 30 days of creating your account.

Application Checklist

  • Create an application account
  • One letter of recommendation: Within the application, submit name and email address of your recommender. They will receive an email invitation on your behalf. Your recommender should speak to your character, academic aptitude, etc.
  • Professional resume: Within the application, upload your resume.
  • Personal statement: Within the application, attach a 1-2 page Word document describing your interest in the UofL MBA program, why you selected the University of Louisville, your short and long term goals and any additional information you feel is relevant.
  • Submit and pay the application fee
  • Official college transcript(s)
  • Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) (The GRE can be accepted in lieu of the GMAT)

    International Applicants – Additional Requirements

    • WES or ECE formal transcript evaluation – if you studied outside of the United States, you are required to submit your academic records for a formal evaluation
    • TOEFL scores – score of 79 and higher on the internet-based test required; scores must be 2 years old or less at the time of application
    • IELTS (International English Language Testing System) score of 6.5 or higher on the computer-based test. Scores must be less than 2 years old at the time of application
    • Financial Statement: You will be asked to demonstrate that you have adequate financial resources to support your educational and living expenses for the duration of your studies in the U.S. Every applicant must submit appropriate official financial documents
