What makes the Executive MBA Metro NY program different?
Its unique delivery format. Classes take place every other weekend, but the immersive environment is reflective of residential program experience.
Johnson’s Executive MBA Metro NY classes are taught by Cornell’s world-renowned faculty on Saturdays and Sundays at the Tata Innovation Center on the Cornell Tech campus in New York City. The residential component, including the Saturday evening stay in a four-star, New York City hotel, allows you to remain fully immersed in coursework and team projects with minimal distractions.
Curriculum and Academics
The program curriculum is sequenced and integrated. It’s focused on general management principles and is applicable to students from any industry or functional area. During your second year, the curriculum will expand into more advanced coursework, including Innovation and New Venture Creation, Valuations, Advanced Strategic Analysis, and the Global Business Study program, which brings our executive MBAs into an international market for a week-long business immersion. You will also be able to customize your experience with elective courses.
Immersive Residential Sessions
The Executive MBA Metro NY program includes four residential sessions on the Cornell University campus in Ithaca, NY. During these weeks, you’ll complete intensive coursework and engage with faculty, classmates, and the broader Cornell community in a variety of ways.
While Cornell’s faculty lead and facilitate classroom instruction, your peers will also make significant, real-world contributions to the learning environment. Class diversity in all forms leads to engaging conversations and new perspectives. Residential class weekends allow you to work on team projects with your colleagues and develop your personal and professional network.
