The National Institute of Development Administration is a true graduate institution. It offers only graduate programs with concentrations in economic development.
Because the institute focuses only on graduate programs, professors are able to focus all of their abilities at the graduate level. There are fewer distractions to professors as they do not teach in the time-consuming undergraduate level course. This means that NIDA MBA graduate students receive a full transfer of knowledge at the highest possible level.
Over 90% of NIDA’s MBA faculty members that instruct in the MBA program in English have earned their Ph.D., a majority of them from highly regarded universities abroad. Many of them have spent a significant portion of their careers teaching at and doing research for universities located in N. America and Europe.
Many of the professors at NIDA Business School teach in more than one of five different MBA programs at the NIDA. This allows them to interact with a broad range of graduate students, from seasoned executives and managers to less experienced students in the English and Thai MBA programs. All of these students have vastly different perspectives on business issues. Seasoned professionals have a vision while younger students, unconstrained by company culture nuances, have creativity as well as unbounded determination.
The knowledge obtained from the NIDA Business School as well as from the student executives is used to design MBA program curriculum which is then delivered to all graduate students.
The program specializes in bringing segments of the supportive business environment directly into the controlled environment of the classroom to give the student real-life learning experience. Whereas, advanced level students get to go out to the field for real exposure.
The English MBA Program is a full-time (weekday, daytime) MBA Program that is conducted entirely in English. This is the main difference between the English MBA Program and the Regular Thai Program, the latter of which is conducted in both Thai and English.
Students can major in both Finance and Marketing. An additional 9 credits, taken in the major field, in addition to the general requirements are required to obtain a dual-major MBA degree.
International Study Opportunities
Students that want to study abroad may pursue an exchange program or other study-abroad options.
