This pioneering program, launched in 1996, combines unique residential sessions in Asia, Latin America, Europe and North America with Internet-enabled distance learning allowing students to live and work from anywhere in the world.
Beginning in May, you complete 15 courses which are grouped into five terms, three course per term. Each term includes a three-week reading period, a two-week residential classroom session, a one-week break, 10-12 weeks of Internet-enabled course work and a one-week break. Beginning in March, you attend classes all day Friday until 5:30 pm and Saturday until 3pm on Duke's campus on alternating weekends. Friday night stays are included in the tuition and are considered part of the weekend residency.
