  • With many students expressing a talent for entrepreneurship, the nationally recognized Lavin Entrepreneurship Center and recent addition of the entrepreneurship minor offered to all undergraduates regardless of major provides students the educational foundation they need to build a successful enterprise.
  • As one of the first of its kind on the West Coast, the Wells Fargo Financial Markets Laboratory offers business students and faculty the tools to research, process and analyze real-time economic and financial data.
  • The professional selling and sales management specialization was developed with 3M Company in response to the increasing global demand for college graduates with sales and management skills. SDSU is one of only two universities in the state of California to offer a sales specialization program to undergraduates.

Students customize their programs of study to match their career goals. Depending on the degree program and the previous coursework of the individual student, the program can be completed in three to four years on a part-time basis. Class schedules are arranged in order to meet the needs of students who can only attend courses during the evening hours. Classes are offered once a week; typical evening class times are 4-6:40 pm and 7-9:40 pm. Past class schedules can be found at: sunspot.sdsu.edu/schedule. Students may switch from being a part-time to a full-time student and vice versa, depending on personal needs. SDSU MBA students have access to the resources of both the Graduate Career Management Center (exclusively for graduate business students) as well as SDSU’s Career Services (college-wide). Admission Process Apply to San Diego State University between October 1st and March 1st. Apply online at www.csumentor.edu. A $55 nonrefundable application fee is required of all applicants. Submit Official Transcripts & Test Scores to the Graduate Admissions Office by April 1st. Send official transcripts from all institutions attended to Graduate Admissions. If your transcript is not in English, then you must also send a certified literal English translation of the transcripts along with the official original-language transcripts with proof of degree. Take the GMAT or the GRE and request that official scores be sent to Graduate Admissions. If your Bachelor’s degree was not taught principally in English, then you must take the TOEFL or IELTS and have official scores sent to Graduate Admissions. Complete Program Application Electronically submit Program Application through your Decision Desk account by April 1st. No paper or e-mailed materials will be accepted or reviewed. You must have your SDSU Red ID to submit your Program Application.
