Firms live and thrive because they interact with other firms and with costumers. What is done outside the firm is becoming increasingly important. Moreover, to be successful, it is not enough to merely focus on domestic markets. Globalization means new challenges, new competitors but also new opportunities and new markets. The ability to manage “long” supply chains, that go from Europe to Asia to Africa and America, to handle local and international suppliers and clients, is a key factor to having a successful business. This is the goal of the Internationalization Processes track. Bologna University, the oldest University in the western world, was founded by uniting students and professors from all over the world. Emilia Romagna companies have deep local roots but they know they have to look abroad in order to grow. We have several sectors that export much more than what they sell domestically. Mechanics, Automotive, Ceramics Tiles and Packaging are only some examples. We have Internationalized enterprises and market leaders that are often small or medium sized. This allows our School to have firms, entrepreneurs, managers and professors that share their expertise and experiences with our students. Our students are an asset. Coming from more than 30 countries they will share their unique working experiences and cultures. The MBA in International Processes is a 12 month full-time program, taught entirely in English.
