The American Business School

The MBA in Geopolitics offered by the American Business School is a two-year course.

Admissions:

  • to the first year (MBA1) with a 3-year degree
  • to the second year (MBA2) with an American BBA or a four-year business degree (120 US credits, or 240 ECTS credits)

MBA1

The first year of the program is composed of higher-level courses from the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) course catalog and is personalized for each student according to their academic background.

MBA2

Year 2 of the MBA focuses on acquiring Geopolitical skills and consists of 42 US credits (84 ECTS credits) taken over a 12-month period.

The program consists of a core curriculum of 12 courses and a choice of concentrations between:

  • International investments
  • International business

  • Geopolitics & Business Development: 2 credits
  • International Organizations and Geopolitical Issues: 3 credits
  • International Finance & Trade: 3 credits
  • Negotiation & Persuasion Strategies: 3 credits
  • International Investments & Portfolio Analysis: 3 credits
  • Mergers and Acquisitions: 3 credits
  • Operational Risk Management: 3 credits

International Business concentration

4 courses to be selected from the following, 11 credits required:

  • Geopolitics & Business Development: 2 credits (mandatory core MBA courses)
  • International Organizations and Geopolitical Issues: 3 credits (mandatory core MBA courses)
  • International & Regional Strategic Partnerships (case studies: Asia, North & South America, - Africa, Europe & the Middle East): 3 credits
  • International Market Development: Strategy & Implementation: 3 credits
  • Economics of International Trade: 3 credits
  • Operational Risk Management: 3 credits

Capstone course, project and practical training: 7 credits

  • International Strategic Management: 2 credits
  • Business Simulation: International Business Management Simulation: 2 credits
