Master of Business Administration
The Bond MBA is a generalist degree based on three pillars – leadership, global business and entrepreneurship. Designed by internationally renowned educators acknowledged for their global experience, this accelerated program blends the most current industry-relevant research with application to business challenges. The Bond MBA will give you a comprehensive understanding of the theory and practice of management in a globalised world. Studying at Bond’s state-of-the-art campus on the Gold Coast, you join a truly international cohort of students. Your professors know you by name and their doors are always open.
Duration: 12 Subjects (120 Credit Points) Full-Time;
Flexible Part-Time Available to Domestic Students Only

The standard MBA is 12 subjects; an MBA with a specialisation is 15 subjects. A specialisation allows you to focus on an area of interest and better prepare yourself for specialist management positions.

MBA Combined Degrees
Bond University’s intensive study program allows you to combine your MBA with another Masters degree. You can graduate with two Masters degrees at Bond with just one year and eight months of full-time study, the same time it takes to complete a standard MBA at many other universities.
The following MBA combined degrees are available:
- Master of Business Administration / Master of Accounting
- Master of Business Administration / Master of Finance
- Master of Business Administration / Master of International Hotel and Tourism Management
Work Experience & Internships
Internships and work placements are encouraged within the School. Work Experience opportunities can be found in a range of industries. The School of Business has an established network of industry partners to be drawn upon for students seeking work experience opportunities while studying.
Graduates have highly developed planning, analytical and interpersonal skills that enhance their ability to successfully manage a business unit or their own business.
The Master of Business Administration is registered with ASIC for RG146 compliance. Students must complete FINC71-600 Managerial Finance and FINC71-318 Personal Investments if they wish to meet the RG146 compliance.
Bond’s Business School focuses on creating a complementary cohort of students drawn from diverse backgrounds and cultures. You will need to demonstrate strong academic achievement as well as the potential and motivation to assume global leadership roles.
The entry requirements are deliberately flexible and each application is assessed on an individual basis.
The entry criteria are listed below:
- A quality undergraduate degree from a recognised institution with a strong GPA
- Minimum 3 years professional work experience
Additionally you need to provide:
- Detailed curriculum vitae documenting work experience
- Cover letter detailing your career goals, how the MBA fits your ambition and what you will bring to the MBA
- Two references, one of which must be work related.
If you do not strictly meet the above entry requirements, a GMAT (Score 580) and an interview may be required.
English Language Requirements
If English is not your first language, you will be required to provide documented evidence that you have achieved an IELTS score = 6.5 (no subscore less than 6.0); TOEFL score 570 (TWE 5#); [CBT 230, Essay 5.0; iBT 89 min. all sections 20, writing = 22] for direct entry.
The Bond University English Language Institute offers a English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program for students whose English language proficiency does not meet the levels required for direct entry, as specified above.
As a prospective MBA student, you are eligible to apply for a Dean’s Scholarship. Scholarship awards range from 10% to 40% of the total tuition fee for eligible candidates, representing a substantial saving on your education investment. Scholarship decisions will be based on merit, using previous university grades, GMAT, business experience, references or an interview to judge merit.
