As its name implies, the Global MBA program addresses business from an international context. Courses focus on issues that transcend national borders. Concentrations are available in accounting, finance, general business, management, and marketing.
Classes can be taken entirely online, or face-to-face in Sugar Land or Katy. Face-to-face classes meet one evening per week, from 7:00 – 9:45. Flexible scheduling accommodates complex personal and professional commitments.
Students who do not have an undergraduate degree in business can expect to take up to 54 credit hours including the foundation courses. Recent BBA graduates may need as few as 30 hours, as up to 24 hours may be waived by excellent performance in comparable undergraduate coursework within the last five years.
The Global MBA program is a particularly attractive option for students who desire to sit for the CPA exam. With 120 credit hours earned from the BBA in Accounting program and 30 credit hours from the Global MBA, students will have satisfied the 150 credit hours required to sit for the CPA exam.
