Three academic landmarks...
A trans-continental convergence in education.
The College of Business, University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh, USA (UWOSH), the University of Applied Sciences, Darmstadt, Germany (DARMSTADT) and the T.A. Pai Management Institute, Manipal, India (TAPMI) jointly offer you a Global MBA Program (GMBA) like none other today.
Integrating rich global experience with academic knowledge, these three top-ranked institutes of learning have specifically designed this program to prepare you for a career in the dynamic, pan-global business arena. With the GMBA Program, you not only gain the value of a global qualification but also the flexibility and confidence of meeting the diverse global business challenges of tomorrow.
In a day and age when global business is converging and the world is emerging as a single large market for products and services, it has become increasingly important for business organizations to be equipped with strategies and employees qualified to tackle global markets and cultures. The Global MBA Program has been designed to fulfill this need and enable potential future managers to succeed in the ever-changing global business environment.
Benefits of the Global MBA
The GMBA is the first and only program where three internationally accredited B-schools have come together to offer a composite program encompassing several distinguished merits.
* Flexibility and Convenience
The program offers flexibility of pace and place for learning. Bearing in mind that the participants are full-time working professionals, a major portion of the course (about 60%) occurs online, allowing the participants ample opportunity to gain access to the course materials at their convenience. The GMBA is a comprehensive course on par with any other full-time course, but with the unmatched advantage of a liberal course schedule.
* International Exposure
This MBA Program is focused mainly on exposing management professionals from the three diverse economies to the concerns and workings of international business, as well as familiarizing them with the nuances of cross-cultural management issues. Fortnight-long, on-site courses in the three respective institutions, every five months, along with the live project participation in local business organizations, are two unique features of the Global MBA Program. This feature stays true to the key objectives of a truly global MBA program such as ours.
* An International Alliance
A GMBA Program offered by an international alliance of three accredited universities is a path-breaking achievement in itself due to its sheer magnitude and expanse. The Program allows the participants free access to international market knowledge, the advantage of learning from world-renowned faculty members and the singular opportunity to be a part of the student fraternities of three distinguished institutions.
The broad parameters of the Global MBA Program
- The GMBA is an 18-month program, excluding the Foundation module (equivalent to about 18 credits), which is to be delivered by the respective institutions in their countries, prior to the commencement of the program.
- The participants will receive course materials online and will also spend a fortnight every five months in two alliance universities/countries.
- The GMBA Program will have a maximum of 50 participants (approximately equal representation from each of the three host countries).
