Program Description

Executive MBA

The Graziadio School of Business and Management, Pepperdine University

Program Information

The EMBA program provides a complete framework for the strategic management of an organization.  Designed for the experienced practitioner and planned around small-group seminar sessions, this program provides the cognitive knowledge and skills necessary to achieve the following objectives:

  • Manage and motivate others in increasingly complex and dynamic environments
  • Access, organize, and analyze important economic and management information
  • Identify and forecast trends and changes in domestic and global markets
  • Develop functionally-integrated business and organizational plans to achieve strategic goals
  • Make strategic decisions, operationalize strategic plans, and provide strategic leadership

Cohort of Colleagues

The EMBA program utilizes a "cohort" format, meaning your classmates remain together as a group throughout the 20-month program.  This approach allows you to foster lifelong professional and personal connections with other business leaders.  Classes generally consist of about 18-25 executives.

Program Schedule

The EMBA program is designed to accommodate the executive's schedule.  Offered over a 20-month, five trimester period, seminar-like classes meet as follows:

  • Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
  • Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Classes meet approximately once every three weeks. While the content of the program is directed by full-time faculty at all times, outside experts are brought in to present current information on such topics as technology, corporate structuring, diversity, entrepreneurship, and new developments in global markets.
