The MBA (Executive) is an integrated program designed to meet the needs of professionals who wish to pursue an MBA degree while discharging responsibilities at their workplace. The program structure is designed uniquely to import core concepts of general management and then build a set of executive courses for an in-depth coverage. This rich exposure to a wide variety of relevant courses in a particular field (Finance, Marketing, and Operations) ensures the development and application of highly specialized skills and competencies.
In the program one has to complete 32 credits. This comprises of 26 modules of one (1) credit each and a dissertation equivalent to six (6) credits. The modules are divided into 18 core courses which are compulsory and 8 electives to be selected by the participants from three different areas of, viz. Finance, Marketing and Operations.
The MBA (Executive) program also lays strong emphasis on peer groups for an enhanced and collaborative learning experience. At every stage, participants will be encouraged to introspect and inculcate in them to use intellectual curiosity. Course work will prepare them to analyze situations, define problems, identify and evaluate alternate solutions and implement these within the context of an organization.
