The MBA degree is probably the most widely known postgraduate diploma in the world. It is not only a passport for your career development but also an opportunity for you to prepare to answer and raise global management questions on a higher level. Our university pioneered the introduction the MBA methodology to Hungary, and still is one of the few institutes with case study and class discussion-focused classing English MBA programs in Hungary. The programs offers an integrated curriculum that reflects the latest business challenges, a superior teaching methodology that uses 21st century e-learning technologies, as well as a diverse and international group of high quality students who join the strong Corvinus MBA Center (former CSM) Alumni Network after graduation.
Corvinus University of Budapest
Located on the bank of the Danube in one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, Corvinus University of Budapest, traditional number one in Hungary in the field of economics, has long been a benchmark for academic excellence. The Corvinus MBA Center (former Corvinus School of Management) builds upon this tradition and offers MBA programs that combine solid global business knowledge with Central-Eastern European flavor and expertise. It is not only the beautiful listed heritage building in the main downtown area of Budapest near the famous Váci Street and the Market Hall that provides an exlusive atmosphere for studying at Corvinus, but the lively mix of students from different countries, ages, or professions as well. This program is intended for individuals with a minimum of three (3) years of work experience AND either working in a management/leadership position or expected to be promoted to a higher level executive role in the near future. The program is also suitable for those who are committed to their present employer and intend to enhance their career jointly with the approval of their company. Usually, these candidates cannot afford being away from their workplace for longer periods and can only attend classes in modular formats, preferably during the weekends. The program content and structure stems from the program objectives and expected skills and knowledge of our graduates. In order to provide integrative thinking and understanding of functional roles in corporations, required topics are organized into Modules. These Modules reflect the key areas that companies require as a foundation for any business school graduate. The Modules are lead by senior faculty and field experts who cover the necessary issues. To facilitate the international needs and individuals choice, the EMBA contains an elective component as well, in the form of courses and/or international week program at one of our international partners. Finally, a significant part of the program is the Thesis Work which is not that common in international MBA programs. This segment is the summit of the participants’ individual development, problem solving and integration of their studies combined with the defense procedure where communication and presentation skills are also demonstrated.
