What is covered? The EMBA curriculum develops the executive capacity to think strategically, while building the leadership skills for which Notre Dame is famous. When Executive MBA students first enter the program, they are assigned to a small group study team of individuals from different industries and backgrounds. The team approach creates a collaborative learning environment and enables students to leverage their varying skill sets for maximum success through the program. Performance in the program is determined by team successes on projects as well as individual performances on exams and other classroom deliverables. Choose from two locations When you’re ready to develop as an executive, you need a program that develops business acumen to scan the environment, strategic skills to evaluate the big picture, and the leadership skills to drive success in your organization. The Notre Dame Executive MBA, through either our Chicago | Michigan Avenue campus at 224 South Michigan Avenue or our Notre Dame | South Bend campus, delivers the education you need to stand confidently when your leadership is tested from any direction. The Chicago | Michigan Avenue program begins in mid-January every year, and meets on alternating weekends for 17 months. The Notre Dame | South Bend program starts in late July of each year, and meets once per month for 21 months. Tuition Investment for individual attendees for our Executive MBA program is $101,000. Fellowships are offered for the Executive MBA program based on need and merit. Your tuition includes: Course instruction Educational materials (course materials, text books, software, etc.) Lodging and most meals during immersion weeks Breakfast and lunch on class days It does not include travel expenses or accommodations for non-immersion weeks, nor does it include international travel. Corporate financial sponsorship is not required to apply to the program, although it is important for the organization to be aware of your participation and support your time away from the office. Admission criteria The strongest applicants will meet or exceed these requirements: Five or more years of significant experience managing people, projects, or business units Active employment An undergraduate degree or GMAT score acceptable to the Admissions Committee English as a native language or passing score on the TOEFL A willingness to take the GMAT, other classes or tests, as requested by the Admissions Committee Upon receipt of a complete application package (including transcripts), a staff member will contact each viable candidate to schedule an interview with the Senior Associate Director of Admissions or College designee. After the interview, each satisfactory candidate file will be submitted to the Admissions Committee. Committee members will review qualifications separately and submit their recommendations. Admissions decisions are typically completed two to three weeks after the interview. [-]
